Microsoft has unveiled an exciting lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles set to launch in the first half of April 2025, featuring a robust selection of both first-party and third-party games. Highlights include South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, and more. This announcement was detailed in a recent Xbox Wire post, signaling a strong start to the month.
Starting April 3, subscribers can dive into Gearbox Software's Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, available across Cloud, Console, and PC for all tiers. Joining the lineup on the same day are All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X | S), and Wargroove 2 (Console), all accessible through Game Pass Standard. This initial wave of releases offers plenty to keep Xbox enthusiasts engaged throughout the month. However, the excitement doesn't stop there; just five days later on April 8, South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) will become available to all Game Pass subscribers.
South of Midnight, developed by Compulsion Games, is set in the Deep South and promises to be one of Xbox's most anticipated releases of the year. Microsoft's official description highlights its unique blend of folklore and adventure: "Explore the mythos and confront mysterious creatures of the Deep South in this modern folktale while learning to weave an ancient power to surmount obstacles and face the pain haunting your hometown."
Following closely, Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 9, with Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) joining these tiers on April 10. Rounding out the first wave of April releases, Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) will be available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers starting April 15.
In addition to the new game titles, Xbox Game Pass perks are also being refreshed for the first half of April 2025. Notable perks include the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile devices, and an anniversary Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
