Surprisingly, some players overlook this essential item. Initially absent from Minecraft, shields are now easily crafted.
You need:
- 6 wooden planks (easily made from logs)
- 1 iron ingot (smelted iron ore)
Arrange the planks in a "Y" shape in the crafting grid, placing the iron ingot in the top-center slot.
