Since the launch of *Star Trek: Discovery* in 2017, the franchise has continued to captivate audiences with its latest entry, *Star Trek: Section 31*, now available on Paramount+. While *Section 31* didn't meet all our expectations, it still boasts moments that stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the finest in the Star Trek legacy.
Given the mixed reception of *Section 31* and the acclaimed success of *Strange New Worlds*, it's an opportune moment for fans to voice their opinions and rank the modern era Star Trek series. Although *Section 31* is a movie, we're including it in the rankings because it was initially conceived as a series.
You have the chance to create your own tier list and compare it with the IGN community's views. Do you believe *Strange New Worlds* deserves the top spot? Should *Discovery* be reevaluated from its current D ranking? It's all up to you!
Star Trek Series of the Modern Era
Personally, the third season of *Picard* was a standout for me, redeeming the earlier seasons and earning an A in my book. *Prodigy* also holds a special place in my heart, serving as the unexpected sequel to *Voyager* that I didn't know I needed. I'd rank it at least a B, if not higher.
