Mother Nature: EcoDash is a new endless runner for Android with a powerful message. This game, created by UK-based immersive arts organization BOM (Birmingham Open Media), tackles the urgent issue of pollution head-on. Developed in collaboration with a group of girls aged 11-18 from the Powered by CAN youth project, their input shaped the game's art style and mechanics.
What Makes Mother Nature: EcoDash Unique?
Players take on the role of Mother Nature, a Black female scientist, racing to clean up the city and rescue endangered animals from the clutches of Smog, a villain intent on environmental destruction. Gameplay involves running, jumping, collecting air purifiers to keep the smog meter low, and avoiding being engulfed by toxic clouds.
Beyond the core running and jumping mechanics, EcoDash incorporates rescue missions. Throughout the city, players encounter endangered animals in need of help. Successfully reaching the rainforest allows for their safe release back into their natural habitat.
BOM's vision was to create a fun and engaging way to educate players about climate change and air pollution. The game is packed with power-ups, shields, and bonus items to aid players on their mission.
Mother Nature: EcoDash delivers a simple yet impactful message through engaging gameplay. Download it now from the Google Play Store!
