Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025
Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce its continued partnership with LE SSERAFIM, coinciding with the launch of their latest album "Hot." This collaboration promises an array of new skins, emotes, and engaging in-game challenges. Following their successful collaboration in November 2023 for LE SSERAFIM's song "Perfect Night," this event marks another milestone. The confirmation came via a captivating trailer shared on Twitter (X) on March 11, following an earlier announcement during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.
Players can look forward to new skins for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored skins from the 2023 collaboration, featuring LE SSERAFIM versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte, will be available for purchase. While the unique Concert Clash mode from the previous event won't return, this time around, you'll have the opportunity to earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by tackling various in-game challenges during the event.
In an interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights into the collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She further explained, "While we don’t have a new song that’s specific to Overwatch, we had to celebrate K-pop culture, so we made a visualizer for one of the new songs off their album that we’re pretty excited about and a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration."
