Parallel Experiment, the cooperative puzzle game from Eleven Puzzles, has been delayed. Initially slated for a March Steam release, the game will now launch on June 5th, simultaneously on Steam, Android, and iOS. This unified release includes cross-play functionality from the start.
The delay allowed Eleven Puzzles to retain all planned content, including optional puzzles and additional mechanics, avoiding the previously considered cuts. Players will step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog, caught in a deadly experiment orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer.
The game features over 80 interconnected puzzles requiring teamwork and communication. Challenges range from deciphering codes and manipulating water systems to hacking computers and even dealing with an intoxicated individual. The noir-inspired atmosphere and comic book art style enhance the immersive, time-sensitive mystery.
Beyond the core puzzles, players can engage in retro-style mini-games like darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, all with a cooperative twist. Interactive dialogue with dynamic NPCs adds depth to the narrative, and mischievous options allow players to playfully annoy their partner.
Boasting five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous title, Parallel Experiment promises a significantly enhanced cooperative gameplay experience. Visit the Steam page for further details. The game launches June 5th.
