Pulling on either banner increased the pity counter for both. This means you can strategically switch between banners to maximize your chances. This carryover applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. However, the pity counter does not carry over between limited and standard banners.

Pity Mechanics:

Remember that while hard pity is reached at 80 pulls, soft pity begins around 58 pulls. Your chances of obtaining an SSR unit gradually increase after 58 pulls, ensuring a guaranteed SSR at 80 pulls.
