Playdigious is celebrating a significant milestone this year—10 years of publishing games! Founded in 2015 by Xavier Liard and Romain Tisserand, this French publisher has dedicated the past decade to making high-quality indie games accessible to a broader audience. Their mission? To take beloved PC and console games and bring them to mobile platforms, ensuring they are easily playable by everyone.
A Roster Full of Successful Games
Over the years, Playdigious has released more than 25 titles, building an impressive portfolio that includes fan favorites like Dead Cells, Northgard, Little Nightmares, and Loop Hero. Recently, they collaborated with Dotemu, Tribute Games, and Paramount Game Studios to bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge to mobile devices, a title that was initially exclusive to Netflix subscribers.
But Playdigious isn't just about ports anymore. In June 2023, they launched Playdigious Originals, a new publishing label focused on supporting creative indie projects from inception. This summer, they are set to release two new games under this banner: Crown Gambit and Fretless: The Wrath of Riffson. These titles follow the 2024 release of Linkito, furthering Playdigious's commitment to original content.
