Get ready for the Pokémon Go Holiday Part One event! From December 17th to 22nd, celebrate the season with special bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and challenges.

This festive event doubles your XP for catching Pokémon and halves Egg hatching distances. A new costumed Dedenne (with a chance to find a shiny!) makes its debut, alongside the first-ever appearance of Shiny Sandygast.

Explore the wild for Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka. Raids offer a variety of festive Pokémon: Pikachu and Psyduck in holiday outfits in one-star raids; Glaceon and Cryogonal in three-star raids; and Mega Latias and Mega Latios in Mega Raids. Seven-kilometer Eggs hold the possibility of hatching Hisuian Growlithe or a ribbon-adorned Cubchoo.

Earn rewards through event-themed Field Research, a $2.00 Timed Research offering themed Pokémon and Premium Battle Passes, and Collection Challenges rewarding Stardust and Poké Balls. Show off your festive Pokémon in PokéStop Showcases! Plus, don't forget to redeem those Pokémon Go codes for free goodies!

The Pokémon Go Web Store has two limited-time offers: the Ultra Holiday Box ($4.99) with storage upgrades and Rare Candies, and the Holiday Part 1 Ultra Ticket Box ($6.99) including event access and a Premium Battle Pass. Stock up on supplies and enjoy the festivities!
