Pokémon GO's Max Out Season Introduces Dynamax Pokémon!

Get ready for giant Pokémon battles! Pokémon GO has officially announced the arrival of Dynamax Pokémon as part of its upcoming Max Out season. This exciting addition brings a whole new level of gameplay to the popular mobile game.

Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th

The Max Out season runs from September 10th, 10:00 a.m. local time to September 15th, 8:00 p.m. local time. Prepare for a week of oversized Pokémon encounters and special events!

Dynamax Pokémon Debut!

The season kicks off with 1-star Max Battles featuring Dynamax versions of classic Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Skwovet, and Wooloo. Catch these Dynamax Pokémon and their evolutions! Shiny variants will also appear.

Beyond battling, special Field Research tasks and PokéStop Showcases will offer event-themed rewards. A new Seasonal Special Research story will also be available (September 3rd - December 3rd), offering Max Particles and a new avatar item.

Max Particle Bundle and Future Plans

A Max Particle Pack Bundle (4,800 Max Particles) will be available on the Pokémon GO web store for $7.99 starting September 8th, 6:00 p.m. PDT. Max Particles are crucial for Dynamax battles.

Rumors suggest the arrival of Power Spots next month, serving as key locations for Max Battles. While Niantic hasn't confirmed this, the possibility of Gigantamax Pokémon has also been hinted at. Further details on Dynamax battles are promised soon. Some Dynamax Pokémon will also be capable of Mega Evolution, according to a report by Eurogamer.
