Gacha game enthusiasts are always keen to monitor the financial performance of their favorite titles. The latest figures for January 2025 have just been released, providing a clear snapshot of the market dynamics. Leading the pack, Genshin Impact, developed by miHoYo (HoYoverse), showcased a significant financial surge last month. Following a major update introducing the archon of pyro and the banner featuring Mawuika, the game's revenues soared to an impressive $99.4 million, effectively doubling its earnings from December 2024's $45.6 million.

Trailing behind, Pokemon TCG secured the second spot with revenues amounting to $64 million, while Love and Deepspace, often dubbed the "female gacha," clinched the third position with $55.2 million. Meanwhile, Honkai Star Rail experienced a dip in earnings, totaling $50.8 million for the month. Zenless Zone Zero, another title from miHoYo, faced a substantial decline, with its revenue halving from $57.9 million in December 2024 to $26.3 million in January 2025.
It's important to note that these rankings reflect revenues exclusively from mobile platforms. Some of these games, including those from miHoYo, are also available on PC. Additionally, a clarification on the revenue calculation method has been provided: "Since Google Play does not operate in China, the estimates for Android data in China are calculated using a multiplier based on iOS revenue within the country."
