Maintaining your footwear is crucial in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes, ensuring you're never left wandering barefoot.
Acquiring New Shoes:
While you begin with a pair, replacement options abound. Loot chests, fallen poachers, and other enemies often yield footwear. Alternatively, purchase shoes from vendors. Tailors offer shoes, but cobblers provide superior quality options. Locate cobblers using the map icon (three red circles); one is found early in Trosky. Cobblers, like Matthew in Trosky, also sell horse gear and crafting kits.
Repairing Shoes:
Several methods exist for shoe repair. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; the cost varies depending on your Craftsmanship skill level and associated perks. Higher skill levels grant repair discounts.
Alternatively, self-repair is possible using a Cobbler's Kit. These kits are obtainable from various vendors (cobblers, blacksmiths), chests, and looted NPCs. Access your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact button ("E" on PC). A repair menu appears; faded items require a higher Craftsmanship level. Select items and repair using the interact button again. Blacksmith's Kits function similarly for other gear. While self-repair is an option, utilizing vendor services remains a viable strategy, ensuring your equipment remains in optimal condition.
