TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), launching next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android, combines the original's turn-based combat with roguelite elements for endless replayability. The Steam page highlights 10 ever-changing biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile title. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile, especially its release timing relative to the Steam and Switch versions. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds more engaging; Steam screenshots suggest it's ideal for short bursts of play. Until its release, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
