Slothwerks, the indie studio behind the Meteorfall series, has returned with a fresh card-based battler. Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is now accepting pre-registrations on Android. Following Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (2019), this is the third installment in the series, launching next month.
What’s the Setting?
This is a roguelike deckbuilder where matches are quick and victory comes from bending the rules—not following them. You’ll play cards with flair to entertain a bloodthirsty crowd. Control a team of three heroes selected from a pool of eight, each with a unique deck.
Featuring over 200 cards, you can modify them mid-run with stacked upgrades. Wild Cards let you shatter conventional combat norms, and you’ll pull off daring moves during battle to gain powerful buffs.
Between fights, explore Bramble Town, where tough decisions await: upgrade your deck, train your squad, or just wander and soak up the oddball atmosphere.

Originally announced as Bramble Royale, the title was changed a few weeks ago after many mistook it for a battle royale. Rebranding it as Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble reconnects it to the series’ signature weird and whimsical world. Take a look at the game in action below.
