Saros Revealed at February 2025 State of Play
Coming in 2026
During the February 2025 State of Play, Housemarque introduced Saros, their upcoming title scheduled for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro around 2026. Building on the foundation of their previous third-person action hit Returnal, the game follows Arjun Devraj, portrayed by Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli, pushing the acclaimed gameplay into new territory.
Return Empowered
According to Housemarque's Creative Director Gregory Louden, Saros was created to let Returnal exist as its own complete experience while launching a fresh IP that refines its storytelling and mechanics. While Returnal offered a dynamic roguelike journey through shifting environments, Saros introduces persistent, upgradeable loadouts—including weapons and suits—letting players "Return Empowered" and ultimately overcome any obstacle that once defeated them.
A full gameplay reveal is expected later in 2025.
