Schedule I developer Tyler has released the highly anticipated 0.3.4 update for all players following a short testing phase. The update, detailed in the Steam patch notes, marks the first major content expansion for the viral hit drug dealer simulator, which launched to phenomenal success on Steam in early access on March 24.
The 0.3.4 update introduces a range of new features including a fully functional pawn shop, a boutique store named Bleuballs, and an array of wall decorations that players can use to enhance their in-game environment. Tyler took to Steam to apologize for the delay in rolling out the update, explaining, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He reassured players that future updates would be smoother and more timely, promising larger monthly updates starting next month.
Looking ahead, Tyler outlined his focus on addressing the remaining bugs, which he listed as top priorities:
- Ensuring employees function consistently and without issues.
- Preventing save game corruption and disappearance, with insights from Valve on improving the save file format for better compatibility with Steam Cloud saves and reduced corruption risks.
- Reducing disconnections and loading problems in multiplayer mode.
Additionally, Tyler is working on enhancing the game's optimization and aims to achieve Steam Deck verification soon, using it as a performance benchmark.

Upon its launch, Schedule I became the top-selling game on Steam, surpassing even big names like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube propelled its success. In the game, players start as small-time dealers and aim to become kingpins, managing the manufacture and distribution of various drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Expansion of the empire includes acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.
Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer Tyler, he described the game's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a Reddit post, Tyler expressed his surprise at the game's reception, stating, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
