Shiny Pokémon Release Date in Pokémon TCG Pocket
The Shining Revelry expansion is scheduled to arrive on March 27th, 2025. This update introduces over 110 new cards, including sparkling Shiny versions of popular Pokémon such as Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu.
A new digital effect will make these Shiny cards shimmer dynamically when you tilt your device. Additionally, a special Shiny Charizard-themed display board and binder will be available starting April 1st.
Beyond Shiny Pokémon, the expansion also welcomes characters and Pokémon from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games. Look out for new cards featuring Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and the fan-favorite Iono.
From March 28th to April 27th, new ex Starter Deck missions will be active. Completing them earns you a deck ticket, which can be redeemed for one of nine different starter decks. For a first look at these dazzling new cards, check out the video below!
Shiny Pokémon are no strangers to the Pokémon TCG. They first appeared in the Neo Destiny set, which corresponded with the second generation of video games. More recently, the Hidden Fates set established the modern standard for Shiny cards with its extensive Shiny Vault collection.
