Radiangames has announced Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series. Boasting a similar visual style and breakneck speed, this PC title follows the original mobile game and is slated for release later this year.
The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "The controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll still have gas, brake, and turbo (or ability) buttons, but you move the analog stick (or mouse) up and down to control your vehicle's direction." While unconventional, they assure players it's surprisingly intuitive.

Speed Demons 2 features ten game modes, including the destructively fun Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all requiring you to wreck other cars within a time limit. For a different challenge, Scratchless mode mirrors Burnout's Burning Lap, demanding a damage-free finish.
