Stardey Valley Cookbook: A Cozy $20 Gift Idea

Author : Matthew Nov 02,2025

I've spent countless hours cultivating my own cozy farm in Stardew Valley. While managing a farm is a full-time endeavor, I always make time to prepare every character’s favorite dishes. Some Stardew Valley recipes are quite straightforward, but the final pixelated results always look delicious. I often imagine how each dish would taste as I cook it in the game, yet I never considered recreating them in real life until discovering the Stardew Valley cookbook.

The official cookbook was developed in partnership with the game’s creator, ConcernedApe (Eric Barone). As an enthusiast of both Stardew Valley and cooking, this video game cookbook tops my wishlist for 2025.

The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook - Now on Sale

$28.00 - Save 34% - Now $18.38 at Amazon

The Official Stardew Valley Cookbook originally launched in May 2024, so I spent nearly a year unaware of its existence. However, thanks to this delay, it's currently available at its lowest-ever price on Amazon. For less than $20, it’s one of the most affordable gifts you can find for a Stardew enthusiast—aside from the game itself.

This cookbook includes 50 recipes based on meals featured in the game. Like Stardew Valley, it’s organized by season, so you can prepare each dish when ingredients are at their peak freshness. It also features a wealth of original illustrations and recipes presented in the voices of various in-game characters. Explore a quick preview of the content in the slideshow below.

While the Stardew Valley cookbook is my personal favorite, there are numerous other video game cookbooks available for purchase. Options include cookbooks from The Elder Scrolls, The Witcher, Fallout, and even Minecraft. Preorders are open for upcoming Pac-Man and Borderlands cookbooks, both scheduled for release in 2025. This is a vibrant and thriving genre.
