Shift Up's recent update for the popular PS5 action game includes the permanent addition of the previously time-limited Stellar Blade Summer Event. This feature can now be toggled on or off at will. Other improvements include quality-of-life enhancements, new map markers, and the addition of the "Ammo Package" item for instant ammo replenishment. However, the most noticeable change for many players is the updated physics engine, particularly its impact on Eve's appearance.
As the Stellar Blade team announced, Eve's physique now exhibits more pronounced movement. The difference is clearly visible in before-and-after comparisons, showcasing a more dynamic visual effect.
While Shift Up has never shied away from showcasing Eve's design, this update pushes the visual presentation further. This isn't limited to Eve; fans have also noted improved physics affecting gear in windy conditions, with one player describing the result as "looking like real-time CG."
However, the most dramatic change in movement is noticeably focused on Eve's chest area, as demonstrated in the provided GIFs.
For a truly realistic physics simulation, one might expect similar movement in her hair as well.
