- Rocksteady delivers the ultimate content update for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
- Season 4 Episode 8 is live across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
- The January 14 patch marks the end of new content development, though servers will stay operational.
Rocksteady Studios has launched Season 4 Episode 8, concluding major updates for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Following its February 2024 debut amid mixed reception, the developer confirmed within a year that support would cease after January 14. Players can now download this final update across all platforms.
Despite its promising superhero premise, Suicide Squad's controversial live-service model arguably accelerated its decline. Rocksteady's December 2024 announcement revealed Season 4 Episode 8 would serve as the game's swan song, though multiplayer features remain accessible indefinitely.
Following scheduled maintenance, Suicide Squad's finale update is now live. Season 4 Episode 8: Balance introduces DC villain Libra's Infamy Set, powerful new weapons, and the climactic Brainiac confrontation alongside numerous quality-of-life improvements.
While servers persist post-update, December's Season 4 Episode 7 enabled full offline play - safeguarding access to all campaign and seasonal content indefinitely.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can currently claim Suicide Squad alongside The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered through February 3.
