Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it's the final item acquired before the final showdown. To obtain it, progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, nestled within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared; it frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, draining 90% of your health. Kina's healing abilities are essential here. Equipping Petrification Null gear significantly eases the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves highly effective against summoned enemies. Consider bringing Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict massive damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory through the Balcony. Amidst the wreckage, locate a chest to the right; it contains the coveted Tachyon Medal.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal: Rewinding Time
Activating the Tachyon Medal's time-bending capabilities requires two prerequisites: reaching the Altar in Shangri-La and completing the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. The Cinderella Tri-Stars appear in eight locations, the first two encountered during the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After the final encounter in Shangri-La, three chests below the Altar become accessible. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Opening all three chests triggers a glow on the door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to reverse time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over your levels, items, and equipment. While enemies become more challenging, this shouldn't pose a significant problem, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal awards the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
