Netmarble's Tower of God, inspired by the renowned webtoon series, is set to roll out an exciting update featuring two new characters: SSR+ Xia Xia and XSR+ Zahard. This update introduces the innovative XSR+ grade, designed to highlight alternate versions of SSR+ characters, whether they're imaginary (IF) versions or sporting a different look. While these XSR+ characters share animations and skills with their SSR+ counterparts, they stand out with unique Revolution skills.
Xia Xia, an SSR+ Elite Spy with the Red Element, brings a blend of powerful Area of Effect (AoE) support and HP recovery skills to the game. She is tagged as a Support and Light Bearer, making her a versatile asset on any team. On the other hand, Zahard, an Adventurer with the Green Element, marks the debut of the XSR+ grade. Tagged as a Warrior and Fisherman, Zahard introduces a fresh dynamic to the gameplay with his unique skills.
Alongside these new characters, the update introduces the Pioneer's Remnant System, tailored for dedicated players who have mastered the tower's challenges. By clearing Hard Mode, players can earn the Pioneer's Remnant resource, which can be exchanged for growth materials and other valuable rewards, enhancing their gaming experience.
To celebrate the arrival of Xia Xia and Zahard, special events are planned: the [Elite Spy] Xia Xia Release Celebration and the [Adventurer] Zahard Release Celebration. These events offer players the chance to obtain the new characters or other exciting rewards, making it a perfect time to dive back into Tower of God: New World.
