If you're a fan of roguelike card battlers, you're in for a treat with Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, now available globally on Android. Designed by the renowned Kazuma Kaneko, famous for his work on the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, this game brings his signature surreal world-building and demonic designs to a new genre. Developed by the Japanese game studio COLOPL, Kaneko joined the team in 2023 to lead this project, infusing it with his distinctive style.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter Has Trained Personal AI Models
One of the most intriguing aspects of Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is its AI-driven system. The game features an artificial deity that observes your gameplay and responds to your choices by creating custom cards. This is powered by a proprietary model called AI Kaneko, which was personally trained by Kaneko himself. This innovative system, known as the Okami System, spawns a false god named Okami who watches your every move during dungeon exploration. Based on your behavior, Okami dynamically generates new cards that reflect your unique playstyle.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is set in a high-rise called The Hashira, located in Tokyo's bayside area. Originally a cutting-edge complex, it's now sealed off and teeming with monsters. Your mission is to ascend to the top of the tower and confront Noriko Tomi, the president of the construction company behind The Hashira. She's the target of Tsukuyomi, an elite national defense unit, due to her plans to overthrow the state using jujutsu traps hidden within the building.
