Still working on completing your collection from Pokemon TCG Pocket's Celestial Guardians expansion that launched barely three weeks ago? Brace yourself - a new expansion drops on May 29 called Extradimensional Crisis, featuring bizarre Ultra Beasts and the unsettling chimera Pokémon Type: Null.
Extradimensional Crisis introduces the Ultra Beasts - strange alien-esque creatures that served as interdimensional invaders in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Confirmed cards include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. The expansion also brings more Alola Pokémon supplements to Celestial Guardians' lineup, along with Type: Null (hinting at its evolved form Silvally's inclusion).
The new expansion comes with fresh cosmetic items, including an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover available for shop tickets starting May 29, and a floral display board purchasable with event tickets during June 11's Wonder Pick event.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady release schedule since its debut last year. While Extradimensional Crisis qualifies as a minor booster expansion (featuring just one pack type instead of multiple), it arrives quickly after recent expansions. This marks the seventh overall expansion and fourth smaller release following Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently all expansions remain available in-game... though this may not last indefinitely.
