Every now and then, *League of Legends* (*LoL*) spices things up with a fresh minigame that players can enjoy for a limited time. The latest addition is the Demon's Hand card game, and if you're diving into this new challenge, you'll want to know all about Sigils to make your journey smoother and more rewarding.
What Are Sigils in the Demon’s Hand in LoL?
In the Demon’s Hand, Sigils are small, powerful stones that enhance your gameplay. You can equip up to six Sigils at once, each providing unique effects that help you defeat opponents and progress through the game more effectively. These effects can either amplify your hands or weaken your opponents, reducing the health you might lose in battle. When you play a hand that triggers a Sigil, its effects are automatically applied, making strategic play crucial.

The placement of Sigils in their designated box can significantly influence your strategy, especially depending on your opponent. When you're navigating the map and preparing for the next fight, keep an eye on your opponent's unique effects. These effects often target your cards, such as nullifying the value of certain suits or diminishing damage if you play fewer cards than a specified threshold.
However, some opponents have effects that specifically target your Sigils. For instance, they might deactivate the first Sigil in your top slot, rendering it useless for that battle. To counter this, consider rearranging your Sigils before the fight begins, ensuring that the deactivated Sigil isn't one you rely on for dealing damage.

Acquiring Sigils is straightforward—you can purchase them at the Sigil Shop, which is marked by two coins on the map. When you stop at these locations, you'll be presented with three Sigils of varying strength and cost. If none of the options appeal to you or fit your budget, you can refresh the shop for one coin, giving you a new set of Sigils to choose from. Additionally, if your Sigil box is full and you spot a better option, you can sell unwanted Sigils at the shop to make room for new ones.
That’s everything you need to know about Sigils in the Demon’s Hand within *LoL*. If card games aren't your thing, don't miss out on the upcoming April Fools skins that will soon grace Summoner’s Rift.
