Unveiling The Division 2's Latest Season: Burden of Truth

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has officially kicked off its third season of year six, aptly named "Burden of Truth." This season beckons agents to immerse themselves further into the gripping narrative, embarking on a quest to find Kelso across the sprawling landscape of Washington, D.C. by deciphering her enigmatic clues. As players progress, they'll unravel the mysteries surrounding Lau's recruitment and delve into the secretive "Cassandra" mission, adding layers of intrigue to their journey.

One of the most exciting additions this season is the Rogue Momentum system, which revolutionizes combat dynamics by incentivizing aggressive playstyles. As players take down enemies and complete combat challenges, they accumulate momentum. While standard eliminations offer a modest boost, the meter surges with critical hits, skillful combinations, multi-kills, and the takedown of elite foes. As momentum builds, players unlock enhanced abilities, including accelerated movement, reduced reload times, amplified damage output, and heightened firing rates. At its zenith, the Overcharge feature activates, significantly reducing ability cooldowns and giving players a formidable edge in battle.

Alongside these dynamic combat changes, "Burden of Truth" introduces an array of new weaponry and gear. Those who own the Warlords of New York DLC and Year 1 Pass will benefit from an expanded inventory with an additional 50 slots.

Notable new items include the exotic SMG, Oxpecker, and the tactical Exodus gloves. The season also welcomes two new brands, Refactor and Shiny Monkey, which offer innovative gear options. Additionally, named weapons such as the Rusty Classic RPK-74 and Goalie FAL come with unique talents, allowing players to fine-tune their builds to suit their playstyle. These exciting additions are available across all platforms, and Ubisoft is keen to gather player feedback to enhance future updates.
