Rinascita is brimming with exciting discoveries, including a variety of puzzles that can be quite challenging to solve. Among these, Morph Paintings stand out, engaging players in two distinct puzzle types: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks.
Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are delightfully simple yet rewarding, particularly if you're eager to gather extra resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Below is a comprehensive guide on how these puzzles function, their locations, and how to successfully complete them.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoring Morph Paintings is an engaging task that involves locating and correctly placing the appropriate paintings on their designated pedestals. To do this, carefully read the descriptions provided on the pedestals, then find the matching portrait. Utilize your Levitator utility to position the painting back where it belongs. The game typically switches your equipped tool to the Levitator automatically, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab or D-Pad Left.
Currently, there are two such puzzles in the game, linked to the quests "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old."
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
Within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in Wuthering Waves, players will explore all three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower houses a Morph Painting puzzle. To solve it, use the large central painting as your reference point and follow these steps:
- Swap the paintings located at the front-left and back-right positions.
- Move the painting found behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
- Shift the painting positioned behind the chairs on the right to the front-right spot.
Upon successfully solving the puzzle, a chest will materialize, allowing you to continue with the rest of the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
The "Trials of Old" quest challenges players to complete four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern region of Thessaleo Fells. Here, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle during the Trial of Wisdom. The goal is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals in a sequence that tells a coherent story from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.
A helpful tip: You'll know you've placed the right Morph Painting on the correct pedestal if the painting's frame illuminates upon insertion. Use this visual cue to navigate the puzzle effectively.
