Alchemy Stars: Offline Mode Incoming, Servers Shutting Down January 24th, 2025
Tencent and Level Infinite recently announced the upcoming closure of Alchemy Stars' online services. Launched in June 2021, the mobile game will transition to an offline-only version on January 24th, 2025. This means players can still enjoy the game's story and gameplay, but with no further updates or online features.
Server Shutdown and Offline Transition:
The online servers will officially shut down on January 24th, 2025, at 4:00 GMT. Before this date, a crucial update (version 1.43.0) will be released on January 10th, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT. This update introduces a local data save feature.
Saving Your Progress:
It's vital to update your game and save your progress before January 24th, 4:00 GMT. The save function is located on the main game page. You can save your data multiple times during this period, but unsaved data will be lost permanently after the shutdown.
Offline Version Limitations:
The offline version will allow you to replay the story, upgrade units, and access your saved data. However, no further updates will be released, and the game will be unavailable for download or reinstallation after January 24th.
Prepare for the Transition:
While the offline version offers a way to preserve the game's content, it's a significant change. Download Alchemy Stars from the Google Play Store before the online servers close to ensure you can access your saved data in the offline edition.
