EA has introduced an exciting new tool called Battlefield Labs, which serves as an internal closed beta for future games in the iconic Battlefield series. The developers have given fans a tantalizing glimpse into the future by sharing a brief snippet of gameplay from the current pre-alpha version.
Within Battlefield Labs, selected participants will have the unique opportunity to experiment with core mechanics and innovative concepts. However, not all these elements will necessarily make it into the final game. To ensure confidentiality, participants must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before diving into various gameplay features. The modes available for testing include fan-favorites Conquest and Breakthrough. Initial testing will concentrate on refining combat and the game's renowned destruction system, with subsequent phases dedicated to balance testing.
Pre-registration for this exclusive beta is now open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series players. Over the coming weeks, a select group of a few thousand players will receive invitations, with EA planning to extend the program to more regions in the future.
