This optional quest is highly recommended, especially considering a Nightmare Echo is trapped within Fagaceae Peninsula's stormy ruins. Prepare your strongest Resonators; this is a substantial undertaking.
Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough
This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the ruined base south of Shores of Last Breath, interacting with the damaged Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:
- Energize three steles at designated locations.
- Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Chase and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Energizing the Steles
The Discipline Steles on the marked altars charge while standing on the central glowing circle. Enemies interrupting this process must be eliminated swiftly. Moving too far from the altar causes energy depletion. Utilize the 2.0 update's enhanced elemental damage and status effects for combat advantage. For the third stele set, quickly position them before enemy spawns. A button prompt will appear on the steles when ready.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct
Use your strongest Resonators to attack the Lumiscale Construct upon returning to the starting area. A cutscene triggers after significantly reducing its health, prompting you to pursue it deeper into the ruins. The environment becomes increasingly hazardous; navigate falling debris and lightning while defeating enemies. A final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct awaits.
Confronting the Dragon of Dirge
The Dragon of Dirge is exceptionally dangerous, capable of stunlocking or one-shotting characters. Evade its breath and falling star attacks, aiming for stuns. Prioritize stunning it after its major attacks.
Defeating the dragon completes the quest, unlocking access to Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
