Lenovo unveiled the Legion Go S, the world's first officially licensed SteamOS handheld. Announced January 7th, 2025, this 8-inch device boasts VRR1 support, adjustable triggers, hall-effect joysticks, and seamless cloud saves and remote play functionality with PCs.
Full Steam integration, including access to the Steam library, cloud, chat, and recording features, is a key selling point. System updates are handled directly through SteamOS.
The SteamOS version launches in May 2025 at $499.99 USD, while a Windows version will be available earlier in January 2025, starting at $729.99 USD. Valve also confirmed ongoing efforts to bring SteamOS to other handheld devices.
