BioWare's latest developer update reveals comprehensive PC optimizations for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, including deep customization options, extensive display settings, and full Steam integration featuring cloud saves, Remote Play, and Steam Deck compatibility.
The announcement coincided with Nvidia's "RTX Announce Trailer," which reconfirmed the game's October 31 release date. Emphasizing their PC-first approach, BioWare stated: "The Dragon Age franchise began on PC, and we're committed to making it the definitive platform for The Veilguard." The studio conducted approximately 200,000 hours of PC-specific testing, representing 40% of their total platform testing effort.
Through nearly 10,000 hours of user research, BioWare refined control schemes and UI functionality across various setups.
