Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected launch timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a release before April 2026.
Industry insider Tom Henderson, analyzing EA's past release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 launch for the new Battlefield title. However, EA remains tight-lipped on specific release dates.
Development is underway at four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, giving select players early access to core gameplay elements. Feedback from this beta test will be crucial in fine-tuning the game before its official launch.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS title is not imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
