Exile Unveiled: PoE 2 Gets Boost from Elon

Path of Exile 2's latest update, 0.1.1c, addresses several key issues and introduces notable improvements. The Grinding Gear Games team detailed the fixes and additions implemented in this significant patch.

Here's a summary of the changes:

  • Bug Fixes: The update resolves a bug preventing access to the Cartwalker Machine after character transfers from solo league. Various bugs in local co-op mode, such as Player 2 unlocking Player 1's UI elements (like high-level maps) and movement restrictions between control points, have been addressed.

  • Increased Revival Attempts: Players now have up to five revival attempts in challenging areas: Distorted Possessions, the Olroth boss fight, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm. The difficulty level determines the number of attempts. In The Mists, death before defeating the Host results in revival within the boss arena, restarting the encounter.

  • Character Renaming: A convenient new feature allows players to rename their characters directly through the official website.

Despite some initial launch challenges, Path of Exile 2 maintains its position at the top of the Steam charts. Grinding Gear Games' commitment to addressing player feedback and improving the game's performance is evident in this substantial update.
