Impact Damage is primarily found on Heavy Melee weapons and some Ranged Weapons. You'll see a percentage alongside the Impact Damage value, but this doesn't directly increase your overall damage output. Instead, it represents non-elemental damage that boosts the force of your regular attacks, accelerating the Abductor's stagger rate. A full stagger meter results in the Abductor staggering, falling, or exhibiting unique reactions, creating an opportune moment to inflict substantial damage before it recovers.
Unlike the visible health bar, the stagger meter is hidden. The Abductor can stagger at any point once the rate reaches a certain threshold. This presents both advantages and disadvantages. Offline play allows you to prepare and land powerful follow-up attacks. However, in online play, staggering an Abductor might hinder teammates' attacks. Some Abductors, like Ramosa, react by moving backward when staggered, potentially complicating precise attacks.
How To Increase Stagger Damage In Freedom Wars Remastered
Increasing Stagger Damage requires unlocking the Weapon Development Facility. This facility lets players craft and customize gear, offering extensive weapon enhancement options. Within the facility, use the Manufacture Modules feature to create modules using various resources. The Stagger Damage Up Module requires Glassy Carbon, a common field resource in Basic Operations. After acquiring the materials, you can also use Synthesise Modules to combine multiple of the same type for increased effectiveness. Attach the crafted module to your weapon to boost its Impact Damage and improve your ability to stagger Abductors.
