In Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless, the name of the game is cash. Mob boss Fletcher Kane controls the flow of gold, and his safehouses hold the key to a powerful boost: Gold Rush. This guide explains what Gold Rush is and how to activate it.
What Is Gold Rush in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2?
Gold Bars remain a crucial currency in Fortnite, used for various in-game purchases. This season adds a twist: Gold Rush. Activating Gold Rush significantly increases your movement speed, pickaxe swing speed, and pickaxe damage against structures. It's a temporary but potent advantage, similar to other in-game buffs. There are multiple ways to unleash this power boost.
How To Activate Gold Rush in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2

Unlike some abilities, Gold Rush offers players two paths to activation:
A Golden Dip: Find and submerge yourself in gold-infused water. These locations are scattered across the map, making it likely you'll encounter one during a match.
Mine the Veins: Gold Veins, the source of Gold Bars, now grant Gold Rush upon mining. Shiny Shafts, a key location controlled by Fletcher Kane, is a prime spot to find these veins. Be warned, however—Kane and his crew are heavily guarded and won't surrender their gold easily.
