Uncover the Secrets of "The Axe From the Lake" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers a wealth of optional quests, and "The Axe From the Lake" is definitely one worth pursuing. This guide details how to complete this rewarding side quest.
Initiating the Quest:
To begin, visit the Tachov tavern and speak with Zdenyek the Mouth. Ask him for some informative gossip; he'll reveal details about a legendary axe hidden within the lake, setting you on your quest.
Locating the Axe:
Before heading to the quest marker, gather a spade. These can be found in graveyards or purchased from general traders. The quest marker covers a wide area. Begin at the pier, then follow the path north. Henry will comment on an undamaged tree and later, a large rock, guiding your progress.
You'll eventually discover a gravesite near a tree. Dig it up to unearth a gemstone silver ring, five marigolds, and a broken axe.
Restoring the Axe:
Take the broken axe to blacksmith Radovan in Tachov. He'll repair it for you, but you'll need a fastening material and 699.5 groschen. Radovan should also sell fastening materials.
The repaired axe, now the "Adorned Axe," completes the quest. You can keep and use this powerful weapon. Return to Zdenyek to finalize the quest.
