The Legion Go S boasts a refined design compared to its predecessor, featuring a lighter, more rounded form factor and eliminating the removable controllers. While the Windows version is currently available for preorder, a SteamOS variant is expected in May at a lower price point.
IGN's Jacqueline Thomas shared her hands-on experience at CES 2025: "Despite its large screen, it remains remarkably comfortable, particularly without the extra controls of the original. The smooth, rounded sides and textured grips enhance the handheld experience and contribute to a secure feel."
Thomas also praised the display: "The 1200p LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate is stunning. Its size ensures clear visuals, and its brightness was impressive, even in the well-lit CES 2025 demo area."
