Overture serves as a dramatic prequel, transporting players to Krat, a city steeped in late 19th-century Belle Époque aesthetics, on the precipice of catastrophic events. Players assume the role of Geppetto's puppet, guided by a Legendary Stalker, uncovering untold stories and chilling secrets.

The narrative centers on a mysterious artifact that catapults the puppet back to Krat's final days of splendor. The player must navigate the looming tragedy, exploring the past, uncovering dark secrets, and facing the consequences of their choices.
