NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City necessitates the Fantastic Four's intervention, setting the stage for this thrilling season running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
This season introduces Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman to the roster, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard, adding exciting new gameplay dynamics.
Players can earn free cosmetic rewards, including the Peni Parker Blue Tarantula skin (page 3 of the battle pass) and the Scarlet Witch Emporium Matron skin (page 9). While the full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), completing quests and earning Chrono Tokens unlocks these free skins. Note that while a free Scarlet Witch emote is available, her MVP animation requires the luxury pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.
The in-game shop features premium skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – a striking black and red design) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – a sleek dark gray and blue ensemble). The abundance of new content has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
