Marvel Rivals welcomes a surprising crossover: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is now available as a new skin!
PlayStation made the announcement on X/Twitter, showcasing NetEase Games' adaptation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter.
This stylish Spider-Man suit, originally designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games of the series. Its distinctive white spider emblem sets it apart. This collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game is a welcome surprise. Get ready to see Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 in the in-game store starting January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PC release.
Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts a variety of unlockable suits, but this Spidey suit stands out. Its connection to the popular PlayStation series and the return of Yuri Lowenthal as the voice of Spider-Man (Peter Parker) adds to its appeal. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three Insomniac Spider-Man games and lends his voice to the Marvel Rivals version.
The addition of Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 provides players with exciting new content alongside Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which launched last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every month and a half.
While we await the new Spider-Man suit, check out player-created custom skins, the Season 1 balance changes, and how some players are using the Invisible Woman's abilities to detect suspected bots.
