Marvel Rivals: Zero-Day Exploit Explodes Player PCs

A recently uncovered bug in Marvel Rivals disproportionately impacts players with less powerful gaming PCs. Lower frame rates (FPS) directly translate to reduced movement speed and damage output for several key characters. This effectively creates a pay-to-win scenario, where superior hardware, rather than in-game purchases, dictates success.

While this is undeniably a significant bug, a swift resolution isn't guaranteed. The underlying problem stems from the Delta Time parameter, a crucial element in ensuring consistent game performance regardless of FPS. Addressing this core issue requires a considerable development effort.

Currently, the following heroes are confirmed to be affected: Doctor Strange, Wolverine, Venom, Magik, and Star-Lord. These characters exhibit slower movement, reduced jump height, and diminished damage output at lower FPS. Other heroes may also be impacted. Until a fix is implemented, players are advised to prioritize improving their FPS, even if it means compromising graphical fidelity.
