Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed in a recent 4Gamer interview that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality remake that meets fan expectations.
Okamura stated that the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing details and enhancing the overall quality. While initial speculation suggested a 2024 release, the target date is now set for next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The developers aim to faithfully recreate the essence of the original Snake Eater while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also teased new features designed to elevate the gameplay experience.
