Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2: A Fresh Batch of Titles
Get ready for a thrilling lineup of games joining the Xbox Game Pass in January 2025's second wave! Microsoft's Xbox Wire announcement precedes their January 23rd Xbox Developer Direct, where further day-one Game Pass additions will be revealed, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-announced title.
The wave begins January 21st with the day-one release of Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Master the slopes solo or compete in eight-player cross-platform multiplayer.
January 22nd brings a flurry of additions:
- Flock (Console) arrives on Game Pass Standard, offering cooperative multiplayer flight and creature collection.
- Gigantic: Rampage Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) joins Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard, delivering a 5v5 MOBA hero shooter experience.
- Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (Console) launches on Game Pass Standard, a unique Japanese-inspired action strategy game.
