Necesse Villager Feeding Guide

In Necesse, keeping your settlers well-fed is crucial for their survival. Fortunately, feeding your villagers is straightforward. Simply ensure your chests are stocked with food. Once your villagers are assigned to a settlement's storage, they'll automatically retrieve and consume food from those chests when hungry.

Alternatively, you can manage this through the settlement menu, assigning work to each settler.

Feeding Your Villagers: A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Craft a chest and place food inside.
  2. With the chest open, click "Settlement Storage" in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Assign your villagers to that storage.

That's it! Your hungry villagers will automatically head to the chest to eat.

To automate the process, establish a cooking area within your settlement. Assign cooking tasks to your villagers and provide them with the necessary ingredients. Place chests within the cooking area to serve as designated storage. Your villagers will then cook and feed themselves, requiring only ingredient replenishment from you.

Best Food for Your Villagers

While many food items work, gourmet-tier foods are ideal. The Blueberry Cake recipe is inexpensive and readily accessible early in the game, making it an excellent choice.

This covers the essentials of feeding your villagers in Necesse. For more Necesse tips and guides, check out The Escapist.
