NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its run. After four years, the Android version will be shutting down. This 4v1 survival horror title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC game, will cease operation on March 20th, 2025.
For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile pits Killers against Survivors in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Players choose to be either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.
The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, ending new downloads. Existing players can continue to enjoy the game until the official shutdown date in March. NetEase will provide details on refunds, adhering to regional laws, on January 16th, 2025.
Players wanting to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-app purchases or accumulated XP on the mobile version. So, if you're a fan, download it from the Google Play Store before January 16th and continue playing until the final curtain call on March 20th.
