According to Deadline, T.S. Nowlin ( Maze Runner, Project Adam) is writing the screenplay. While Derek Kolstad's involvement remains uncertain, Chad Stahelski (John Wick) and his company, 87Eleven Entertainment, will serve as executive producers. Stahelski is also attached to the Ghost of Tsushima film adaptation.
Sifu, released in 2022, achieved over one million sales in its first three weeks. The game follows a martial artist's quest for revenge after their master's death. Using a magical pendant for resurrection, each death accelerates their aging, adding a unique layer to the protagonist's perilous journey.
