Mabinogi releases its major Arcana: Faith and Fury update, introducing new gameplay systems, seasonal content, and progression enhancements. Players can explore two fresh Arcana talents while enjoying revamped summer events and a glimpse at upcoming story content.
New Combat Styles Emerge
The update introduces Sacred Guardian and Explosive Vanguard - two distinct Arcana talents that expand combat possibilities. Sacred Guardian merges Holy Arts with Warrior techniques to create defensive powerhouse abilities like Pledge of Penance and Provoke, perfect for team protection. Meanwhile, Explosive Vanguard combines Gunslinger and Lance skills for wide-area destruction through abilities such as Relentless Thrust and Blaze of Glory. Both talents feature scaling Arcana Link Effects that grow stronger with progression.
Enhanced Player Progression
The Total Arcana Level cap increases to 250, accompanied by a new achievement questline to help newcomers navigate the Arcana system. Existing Arcana talents receive balancing adjustments to maintain parity with the new additions, ensuring all playstyles remain viable.
Summer Festival Events
The Summer Master Plan returns with experience boosts and the customizable Black Combo Card. All players receive complimentary VIP Service access. The highlight, Flying High, offers accelerated character development with endgame rewards including:
- Codex of Ascendant Arcana
- Special companion corgis (magic and warrior variants)
- Instant Spirit Weapon enhancement scroll
Developers also previewed Generation 27 content arriving in August, which will explore Vertrag's Giant heritage and the mythical city of Murias.
