Reburn, a newly formed studio comprised of key developers from 4A Games, has announced its inaugural title, La Quimera, a first-person shooter. Staying true to their roots, the game maintains the FPS genre but introduces a compelling science fiction setting.
The near-future, high-tech landscape of Latin America serves as the game's backdrop. Players assume the role of a Private Military Company soldier, equipped with an exoskeleton, engaging in intense combat against a local organization. Expect dynamic battles unfolding amidst lush jungles and a vibrant metropolis.
Developers promise a deeply immersive narrative and gameplay experience, playable solo or cooperatively with up to three players. Adding to the intrigue, the script and setting are crafted by Nicolas Winding Refn (renowned for Drive and The Neon Demon) and E.J.A. Warren.
La Quimera is slated for release on PC (Steam), though a release date remains unannounced.
